August ATC - Sewing

For this ATC Swap we make 4 cards on the monthly theme and send three to the organiser.  She sends us three random cards in exchange.

The fourth card we make is for us to keep.

The theme for the August ATC Swap was Sewing.

I pricked out the lines on this paper and then used embroidery thread to sew the design.

This is a window nook I made from a kit from Cool Katz Craft

I added lots of personal touches, from the bunting to the books and decorations on the top shelf

I printed off scaled-down covers for the Penguin Clothbound Classics to cover the book blanks

Cute spines!

July ATC - Music

The July theme was Music

I printed off some music themed quotes, inked round the edges and added some music stickers.

This is a card I made using the "locked page" technique demonstrated by @TanuCreative. 

I made the pages smaller and smaller until the final one is only 1inch square. 

The papers came from Lorita Art Studio on eBay.

June ATC - Under the Sea

For this ATC Swap we make 4 cards on the monthly theme and send three to the organiser.  She sends us three random cards in exchange.

The fourth card we make is for us to keep.

The June theme was Under the Sea.

I used images of the mermaid from the children's book Ten Minutes to Bed Little Mermaid and some fish fabric from my stash.
The card opened to reveal the Under the Sea scene.

June's Garden Hexacard

 

This is a hexacard made following a tutorial from @4GirlsStoleMyHeart I used black cardstock and pages from an old calendar of RHS Gardens to make a beautiful Birthday card for a friend who loves her garden and loves butterflies too.

Lily's Horse Album

 

This is an album I made for my friend's grand-daughter who loves horses.  

The album is A4 landscape and based on a tutorial from @ScrapNCreateVideos 

I used a mixture of papers from Stamperia, @emmaparrish2740 and other digital creators on Etsy
